I "abuse" my horse.
update: Although he is doing pretty well with the curb bit, I just decided that if he doesn't get used to it within a month or two, I'm going to try switching him to a pelham bit. If he is in country pleasure classes, he is able to be ridden in one (although it's rare). They're used often when a horse cannot wear the curb bit comfortably, so we'll see if we keep it or change it! =]
I supposedly "abuse" my horse by putting him in a full bridle when he is four years old. LMAO. He looks fine to me.
Pictures of just him today.

Feel free to comment standing up for me.
"well the only reason his head is somewhat down in these 2 pics is that you have it forced down with some sort of leverage device. he is still clearly avoiding the contact with a hollow back and a gaping mouth. but hey, whatever floats your boat! they do say ignorance is bliss!"
"looks like this

is what's winning is the SS ring. quite a bit different than your poor horse."
"His headset is also just horribly inconsistant. Its different in pretty much every picture."
